Yesterday I visited a very remote location up in mountains of Los Padres National Forest called Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse and it is absolutely stunning. A collection of three cabins from the 18th century (imported from the east coast) the rustic beauty is truly one of a kind.

While it is quite a drive to get there, the serenity and beauty is worth it. The best part: the cabins sleep 12-14 couples and there are no music restrictions– you could party until 5am if you wanted to. While the property is remote, modern conveniences such as internet and cable are available (there’s even a hot tub). The property also features goats, ostridges, a pond and tons of local wildlife.

Some notes:

• A great site for large and small weddings this property is truly a gem in the rough.
• There is a BBQ pit on site to use.
• Rentals will need to be brought in, including a kitchen.
• A great site for large & small weddings.
• No candles are allowed.
• Shuttles aren’t required for your guests but given the drive, especially at night, it would be a good idea.
