My Wedding
Sorry to all my readers for lagging with posts… I was off getting married! I’m eagerly awaiting pictures (above is a picture I took of all the centerpieces on my kitchen floor) and I want to thank all of my amazing vendors:
Lorraine Lim Catering- tasty food, excellent, 5 star service. I gave Glenn diagrams of how I wanted the buffets set-up and he executed flawlessly. He also put away all my candles which I extremely grateful for and washed my platters.
Collage Floral and Event Design- Kim got my vision of “Zen Glamour” and executed perfectly as always.
Harper Smith Photography- So easy going and with a great eye, I got so my compliments from my guests about how comfortable they felt with her behind the lens.
Goodbeat Productions- Josh took our input (which was lists and lists of music) and transformed it into a more mainstream vibe for my guests– the dance floor was packed all night.
Julie Morgan Hair and Makeup- I’ve never felt more beautiful. Julie was so calm and so fast too!
Town and Country Event Rentals- Always on time with the best equipment and service. Special thanks to Wayne, Brenda, and George.
Mercedes Trump- I brought her a traditional long wedding dress and she transformed it into the perfect tea length wedding dress that I had been dreaming of. It fit perfectly and the veil she made accented the dress beautifully.
Rockwood- The perfect location, Sue, Marty, and Bob were easy to work with and very flexible especially since I had some special requests (Marty trimmed the ceremony tree which made a huge difference, Sue let me take down the string lights and Bob opened the building on Sunday for load out).
Wildcat- We reserved the VIP patio for the after party and it was perfect. We were well attended to and we danced until closing.
Arnoldi’s- We had our rehearsal dinner here and the service and food were impeccable. Their lasagna is to die for.
Andersen’s- We reserved the upstairs area for a post wedding brunch. The room is adorable and the food was perfect for curing a hangover (I still managed to have mimosa or two)
Family and Friends- Thanks to Tim, our friend who married us, Dory for composing the ceremony music, my sister, Tracy for getting all the napkins rolled and tied, Jamie for teaching us our first dance, my parents for getting the ceremony rocks super straight, my Dad for making the place card table perfect, Zack, the best man, for keeping the party going and going (and Steele and Royer), and Debbie for helping put the favors together. Thanks to all my friends and family for coming to Santa Barbara and making our day truly magical. And a special thank you to my husband, Sam, for making my life truly joyful.
