Decor: Capiz Shells
I love capiz shells. They have a beachy feel, but are also so elegant. I love how translucent and delicate they are and how they diffuse light.
When I design a wedding I like to find a maximum of three elements that I can repeat in different ways. For capiz I would love to use these tiny lanterns from Bliss Wedding Market.
Also, over at Jamali Gardens are these fun capiz strands. It would be fun to hang these from a huppa or ceremony arch. They can also be used in lieu of ribbon down the aisle. You could also wrap them around tall hurricane candles which would be pretty.
These individual capiz shells also from Jamali Gardens could be used for placecards or glued onto favor boxes.
I also love these capiz string lights that I found on Amazon. The glow is just so pretty and delicate.
I found these cute capiz drink coasters that could be used under votives or pillar candles or as part of the centerpiece.
And finally, the classic capiz lantern. I was going to use something very similar for my ceremony, but it was just to windy. I love the sound the lanterns make though, its sort of a soft twinkly sound.
