Anthropologie Wedding: Behind-the-scenes
As this was my first photo shoot working for Kelly, I thought I’d share with Santa Barbara Chic readers some of the behind-the-scenes goodness from the day! First of all, it was raining…
The rain and humidity from the day did not bode well for the ribbon glue.
This was about the third time that we were going back up to re-attach the “tentacles”.
Kirsten Ellis in action.
And her assistant, directing the light while trying to stay dry.
Kelly simultaneously wiping centerpieces dry while lighting candles…
The favors, by Santa Barbara Preserves, pre-production.

What a beautifully inspired wedding! I love all things Anthropologie so I had to click over from someone’s blogroll. I enjoyed all the tiny details and marvel at how you pulled all this off given the rainy weather. I have to say I love this canopy of ribbon chains and how it encases the bride and groom. It reminds me of the “lasso” traditionally used in Mexican Catholic weddings. It’s all so sweet and thoughtful.

Even with the weather not being at all friendly, you were still able to pull it off. Hope the wedding day becomes a success too. Best wishes.
