I love vintage or antique anything, and that’s why I’m loving Found Vintage Rentals. They are a rental company for weddings and private events and they have so many cute vintage props, tables, chairs and accesories that you create that “Anthropologie” look for your wedding day with ease.

I love a good farmhouse table and they have a bunch to choose from. Not to mention suitcases, a great prop for photo booths, welcome tables or the seating card table.

Oh yes, and they have vintage containers and old glass which I’m totally obsessed with. Check out their inventory here. Happy designing!

New Rentals = New Obsession

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

I’m in love with these new candle walls from Town and Country. They’re 10 feet tall and add so much drama to a space. Plus they’d work perfectly to divide a tent into “rooms” if you needed to. They can be rented with or without the sheer drape and with or without LED candles  (though in a tent you’d have to do LED).

This fabulous chair is part of the new Montecito collection. Bridal portraits in this chair would be awesome.

And of course they have a matching couch. I love the rustic/elegant feel it has.

Oh yes, and this black and white awesomeness (I’m a sucker for anything black and white).

All items are from Town & Country Event Rentals.

More, More, More: New Event Rentals

Monday, July 21st, 2008

I just got my latest email from Town and Country Event Rentals and they’ve added even more fun pieces to their collection. The first (and my new favorite) is the Amalfi Cabana. I love the contrast of the sheer fabric swagging with the dark masculine wood. I can’t wait to use it!

New Rentals: Translucent

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

I saw these new translucent tables, display cases, and panels when I visited Town and Country Event Rentals while I was picking out china and glassware for my wedding. I loved the panels so much that I added them to my order. I set them up behind the DJ and used green uplights to color the panels to match my theme. The DJ loved them, and so did I!

How cool would it be to use the display cases for escort cards?

Decor: Ghost Chair

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

I love finding new rental equipment to use for my event designs and these ghost chairs from Resource One fit the bill. Designed by Philippe Starke and produced by Kartell, they are the epitome of a clean, modern style. The chairs come in two styles, the more feminine and smaller option is called “Victoria,” the more masculine version is called “Louis.”

Victoria comes in a plethora of colors whereas Louis comes in more basic colors like white, black, amber and clear.

The chairs can be shipped nationwide, with the LA warehouse serving the west coast and New Jersey the east coast. The rental price isn’t cheap, but if you have to have something more modern than the standard chivari chair this is a cool alternative.

New Lounge Furniture

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

Town and Country Event Rentals has just added 5 new types of rental furniture.

Metro is modular furniture with a very masculine feel. For a couple holding their reception in art gallery this would be the perfect accent.

Spotlight: Bella Vista Designs, Inc.

Thursday, January 10th, 2008

I just had the pleasure of meeting with Trevor Zellet of Bella Vista Designs and he gave me a tour of his facility and showed me some of the fun decor products he has in stock. Known mainly for his lighting work he also carries a ton of rental and decor props. For instance, he has a 36′ plexi bar for rent, some huge chandeliers, Chinese lanterns for days, couches and armchairs, (at very affordable rental prices I might add) and these really cool rustic star lanterns that he picked up in Mexico. Most impressive, was his inventory of fabric for swagging and pipe and drape. He has all the colors of the rainbow and he’ll make you custom panels as well. How couture is that?

Sleek New Rental Equipment

Thursday, January 10th, 2008

Town and Country has once again brought us some fun new rental options. They’re offering modern translucent screens, cocktail tables, and bars for rent. I love how you can back light each piece of equipment which means these puppies can go with any color scheme. Also new, is the Panton Chair– truly a work of art! These chairs are supper comfy (kind of springy too) and would be fun to use a hip, 60′s themed wedding.

Something Different: Chameleon Chair

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

Chameleon Chairs launched in 2005 at the prestigious Academy Awards Governors Ball and since then they’ve expanded their line to include tons of alternatives to the traditional chivari chair. Each chair has numerous back styles and can add a touch of glamour to any event.

LEDs- The future of Lighting

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

LEDs are great for events where candles are not allowed (museums, historical mansions) or when an unexpected glow of color is needed. I’ve used them for a monochromatic blue party, and at all all white party with pops of color contained in a frosted votive holder. Very modern and environmentally friendly too!

All the Colors of the Rainbow

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

Town and Country Event Rentals has just added colored chivari chairs for rental. These are a great alternative to the traditional gold chivari chair and will certainly add a pop of unexpected color to any event. I would love to use the pink chairs for an ultra-girlie bridal shower.
