On Tuesday, Sidney of SBB Catering hosted a lovely little Holiday party for Santa Barbara wedding vendors. The food was delicious (lobster canioli- yum!) and the service was impeccable. Stop on over to their website for more information.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting with the owner and chef of Seasons Catering Gabrielle Moes. The food at the tasting was delicious and Gabrielle was clearly passionate about serving catering food that is restaurant quality.

Duo Events opened last year and was created by two chefs, Ashley Transki and Brian Congdon both of whom worked for the Sage and Onion. They specialize in creating menus that are inspired by, and made from, locally grown, organic food. Large, buffet-type events are not their specialty. Founded in 1991 Lorraine Lim Catering is a great catering company that provides outstanding food, service and attention to detail. Glenn, Lorraine’s husband, handles the event planning and running the front of the house, while Lorraine focuses on the food. The result is flawless service and yummy food. I’m actually using them for my own wedding which is about 6 weeks away and I can’t wait. Their tri-tip and ahi tuna tartar are to die for!
