I love a wedding where wheat would be used for some of the decor for a late summer, early fall wedding. White, loose arrangements of flowers would be paired with wheat in the centerpieces, and only the finest artisan bread would be served.

The inspiration for this board came from Karen Mordechai‘s photo from her Sunday Suppers blog (second row, far right). I picture this wedding as a very casual picnic style wedding. Rustic peach cobbler would be served instead of wedding cake, and family heirlooms, such as the cameo below, would give this wedding a personal touch. I’m been very much in need of color lately, and I when I found this colorful star burst photo (second row, center) by Karen Wise, I just had to do an inspiration board based on it. I picture all the bridesmaids wearing whichever color they prefer in that palette, deep pink peonies, and lots of sweets.

This board was inspired by the bottom right image styled by Jane Roarty. I love the red and white stripe skirt and the sheer exuberance of the photo. I picture this wedding with lots of laughter and food to appeal to the kid in all of us (hello ice cream and popcorn).

I’m a big fan of any type of outdoor wedding and a garden wedding is the epitome of romance. The inspiration for this board was from a photo by Terry Michael found via Artfool (top photo). Pink peonies, lush green grass, it’s just the perfect backdrop for a spring wedding.
