Its freezing in New York, but Bridal Market is going full steam ahead.

I absolutely adored the Melissa Sweet collection. This floral border veil was simply divine.

I’m particularly in love with this dress. The veil and dress are designed to be one seamless, floaty piece.

Likewise, I love the fabric “roses” on this dress…

I loved the delicate Grecian drapery on this dress from Melissa Sweet Reverie (and notice the b-list bag in the corner, Anne from “I Will” to “I do” and brides.com, respectively, was representin’!)

More to come, but until then be sure to check out brides.com blog wedded bits for up to the minute coverage.

Runway Report: Wedding Dresses Fall 2009

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Fall 2009 wedding shows showed a lot of off the shoulder-styles, short wedding dress (finally!) and a lot of floaty ethereal-ness. I love the Romona Keveza gown (above, center), the color and the chic little belt are so sophisticated. (above left, Vera Wang, above right Vineyard Collection)

The top row is all by Monique Lhuillier. How floaty and pretty are her dresses? And finally, more short wedding dresses! Cute, flirty, and functional these options are adorable (second row, from left, Vineyard Collection, Reverie by Melissa Sweet, Melissa Sweet).
