Sneak Peek: A Real Santa Barbara Wedding

Monday, September 1st, 2008

Hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend! I just got an email from the lovely Katie Moos that the photos from a wedding I did a few weeks ago are going to be released today. Here’s a sneak peek image of the cake and seashell letters I made by hand (I bought Styrofoam letters from Moskatels and hot glued sea shells onto them).

Stay tuned for more of this lovely wedding…

You can check out the posts here and here. Holly likes to use real weddings as inspiration for her designs. Here is her drawing based on my wedding:

For my bouquet, Kim wired in mini succulents and the groom wore one for his boutonnière. I loved my bouquet, it was the perfect size and it was just stunning against my dress. Enjoy!

I ended up with several shades of green, a rich, Kelly green (no pun intended), a celadon green and crisp black and white.
