Entertainment armoire – A TV armoire consists of large doors that surround the side walls, a platform that has TV, adjustable shelves and cupboards under. It makes a practical computer desk for a few minor changes. The advantage is that you can close the armoire doors and hide the computer monitor, CPU, printer and all the office supplies you are in the area. Make your room clutter when you turn a TV armoire into a functional computer workstation. Measure your computer screen, and compare it with the space in the TV armoire. Adjust removable shelf above the space to create enough space for the computer screen. Take the shelf, raise the metal clips that hold the shelf in the vertical grooves, and then replace the shelf.
Convert a TV entertainment armoire a desk; turn armoire enough so that you have access to the back. Select a space at the bottom of the TV platform, about 2 inches from any side. Then use a hole saw for cutting a 2-inch hole through the back of the armoire. This is where the computer cords will leave the armoire to connect to the power outlet. Drill another hole in the back of the armoire in the bottom cabinets to allow the printer cables pass.
As a result, install an under desk keyboard drawer on the bottom of the TV platform. Set the printer inside bottom of the cabinet and pull the cables out of the hole in the back. Maximizing the storage space inside the entertainment armoire by adding the wall file baskets mounted on the inside of the side walls.
