The wedding planning process is a fun, creative process that can become overwhelming and stressful. That's OK; you've never done this before and can't be expected to know the ins and outs of events. Our job as wedding planners is to share our years of experience, tell you what does and doesn't work, make suggestions, and be your guide throughout the process.
On the day of the wedding, it is our goal that the bride and groom be just that- the happy couple sharing their love with family and friends. They're not running into the kitchen to check on catering, looking for a missing member of the bridal party, making sure the guests' chairs are lined up perfectly, updating the DJ that the first dance will be pushed ten minutes, and so on. Our job is to make sure your guests are attended to; all the little details are just as you envisioned, the vendors are where they need to be, and the event flows smoothly and effortlessly.
Full Wedding Planning
Full wedding planning is where Kelly acts as the project manager on all the logistical aspects of the wedding. The majority of our clients are destination couples who are traveling from LA, San Francisco, or New York and need someone in town to actively manage the planning process. Kelly sets up weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly calls, depending on where you are in the planning process. You will ultimately make the decisions about which vendors to hire, but Kelly will manage all vendor communication, logistics, timelines, event production, rental orders, lighting installation, and all the millions of details that go into a wedding.
Month-of Planning
This service is for the bride who wants to handle the majority of planning, but would like to have the final stretch of planning managed by a professional. This service works best if Kelly is booked 6 months in advance. She can answer any questions you have and provide vendor referrals as needed. Four weeks before the wedding, Kelly will meet with you and will take over all the paperwork. She'll make sure all the details are correct and nothing has been overlooked. Kelly will create a vendor production timeline and wedding day timeline. She will be present at the rental install, run the ceremony rehearsal, and be on site on the wedding day for a minimum of 12 hours.
Location Scouting a la Carte
Need help finding the perfect location for your wedding day? Kelly is constantly discovering new private estates, ranches and private beach locations. On her blog she has reviewed over 30 unique locations, many of them newly opened to weddings. She knows of many more private estates and ranches that prefer to find couples exclusively through a wedding planner.
To help you find your ideal location, Kelly will send you a questionnaire that will help you hone in on your priorities for a location (perhaps it must have a view, be on the beach, allow candles, and allow amplified music).
Once you’ve got an idea of what you want, we will create an itinerary of locations that fit your criteria. We will then act as personal guide, taking you from location to location, discussing the pros and cons of each site and how your wedding would flow in each space.
Pricing: Minimum 2 hours of service for $300, every hour thereafter is $125 plus mileage.
Hourly Consulting
So you’re engaged but aren’t sure how to start? Can’t visualize how you want your reception set up? Need help making a timeline? Aren’t sure what your ceremony order will be? Kelly offers hourly consulting to help get your questions answered and put your anxiety put to rest. She can walk through the location for the wedding, discuss setup and flow, and then sit down with you and suggest vendors that fit your style and budget.
Wedding Planning Consulting Pricing: Minimum 2 hours of service for $300, every hour thereafter is $125.
